Meeting Between the Head of the Doctoral Program in Cultural Studies Doctoral Students Udayana University Entering the Second Semester of 2024/2025
The Head of the Doctoral Program in Cultural Studies at the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University, held a meeting with the 2024 cohort students to welcome the start of the second (even) semester of the 2024/2025 academic year on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, online.
In this opportunity, the Head of the Program, Prof. I Nyoman Darma Putra, shared various information related to lectures, course selection, and other academic aspects to help students prepare for the second semester.
According to Prof. Darma, by the end of the second semester, students are expected to take the qualification exam. Therefore, they should start drafting their research proposals.
"We want to encourage students to stay motivated in their studies and complete their programs on time with optimal quality," said Darma Putra.
During the one-hour meeting, students raised various questions about lectures, exams, dissertation topics, as well as national and international publications.
"The program encourages students to participate in seminars to gain new knowledge and insights. Additionally, they are also encouraged to write publications, as these earn credits and are a requirement for exams," said Prof. Darma.
